About Course

The “About the Future” programme, led by visionary thinker and transformational coach Saviour Shedamang, was a powerful 12-week online journey that redefined how we perceive time, reality, purpose, and possibility. Designed to stretch minds, ignite ambition, and ground dreams in intentionality. The class carried the bold thesis that “the future does not exist, but it is real.” More than just a motivational experience, this was a philosophical, psychological, and practical masterclass on vision crafting fitting for personal leadership, and spiritual alignment. Each week, covered thoughts which lead to a paradigm shift in how we engage with our lives, goals, and identities.

Shedamang began by helping us (hereafter participants) demystify the concept of the future. He introduced the idea that the future is not a distant reality waiting to unfold, but a construct that is actively created by decisions, actions, and beliefs made in the present. “The future does not exist—not yet. But it is the most powerful blank canvas given to man. You create it by faith, not by familiarity.” This redefinition helped participants detach from a passive mindset of waiting and step into a creative posture of authorship. While the programme holds lots of insightful truth, a standout feature of the course was its in-depth discussion on the concept of time. Drawing from biblical, philosophical, and scientific insights, Shedamang explored Chronos vs. Kairos time, Time as a dimension, not just a sequence, the psychology of delay and acceleration, and how humans interact with time: productivity, procrastination, and purpose. He emphasised that although time is linear in structure, it is malleable in influence; thus, “You may not control time, but you can control how time counts.”

Furthermore, participants were guided into a rigorous practice of visualising the kind of future they want to create, not merely as wishful thinking but as strategic intent. Shedamang framed imagination as a divine gift, a tool of foresight and faith. Assignments challenged individuals to draft vision maps and legacy outlines, tools that helped bring abstract dreams into concrete plans. This singular task has helped me navigate towards shaping my purpose in youth ministry. At the core of the program was the theological foundation that faith and action create reality. Shedamang, in passing comments, taught that: Faith is not wishful thinking; it is constructive obedience. One cannot wait for evidence before believing; belief produces evidence. The future is shaped by what you believe now. This was one of the most impactful elements of the program, blending spirituality and life design with rare clarity.

While the course leaned into metaphysical and spiritual truths, it never abandoned the need for action. Participants were trained to: Break down long-term goals into actionable weekly commitments. Audit time and energy investments. Build future-focused habits. Create sustainable systems for growth. As the course climaxed, the focus shifted from personal future to generational future. Shedamang asked questions like: What will outlive you? What future are you creating for others? Will your life echo beyond your lifetime? This shift led to powerful moments of introspection and decision-making, as participants reconsidered their priorities in light of eternal impact.

Saviour Shedamang’s delivery style combined wisdom, humility, and clarity. His teaching was covered with real-life stories, scriptural insights, cultural references, and philosophical depth. He invited conversation, welcomed questions, and gently but firmly challenged limiting beliefs. “About the Future” is more than a class, it is a transformational experience that invites you to become a conscious co-creator of your destiny under God’s divine orchestration. It is ideal for, Young adults seeking clarity, Visionaries in transition, Leaders looking to recalibrate, and anyone ready to live beyond excuses. Saviour Shedamang has created a timely program for a generation hungry for more, but often stuck in the now.
